An Evolving Architecture
Claudia González Burguete founded González Burguete Group as a home for her existing activities and a foundation from which future enterprises could develop.
 
As new disciplines emerged, the organisational structure of González Burguete evolved with them. Activities that had once been grouped together were reconsidered as their individual purposes and identities became clearer.
 
Rather than preserving an organisational structure simply because it had existed historically, González Burguete developed around the character of the work itself.
 
Different disciplines were given distinct identities, allowing each to develop independently while remaining connected by a wider vision.
 
This evolution resulted in three principal enterprises:

• González Burguete Creative — photography, design and publishing.

• González Burguete Editions — objects, collections and editions.

• González Burguete Precision — engineering, research, strategy and advisory.

 
Together, they provide the framework through which the different creative, material, technical and professional activities of González Burguete can develop independently, intersect where appropriate and continue to evolve.

González Burguete Creative is the artistic and creative enterprise of González Burguete, bringing together independent identities across photography, design and publishing.
 
It provides a framework for creative work to develop across different forms while allowing each identity to retain its own authorship, character and area of expertise.

González Burguete Precision is the technical and professional enterprise of González Burguete.
 
It brings together engineering, research, development, consulting and advisory expertise within a framework concerned with disciplined thinking, complex problem-solving and technically rigorous solutions.
 
Kentron and Tome provide complementary forms of expertise. One is principally concerned with establishing perspective and direction; the other with developing technical understanding and solutions.

González Burguete Editions is the objects and collections enterprise of González Burguete.
 
It provides a platform for the creation, curation and development of distinctive objects, collections and limited editions, with an interest in the relationships between material, design, craftsmanship, authorship and provenance.
 
Rather than representing a single aesthetic or category of object, González Burguete Editions provides a framework through which specialist collections and identities can develop independently.
 
Its approach is expressed through three ideas:
