Maniera

Maniera is the first specialist brand within González Burguete Editions, dedicated to artisanal and decorative objects distinguished by material, craftsmanship and character.
Its name derives from the Italian maniera—manner, way or style—and expresses the idea that the character of an object lies not only in what is made, but in the particular manner in which it is made.
Maniera explores this relationship through objects that may encompass ceramics, glass, furniture, textiles, woodwork, metalwork, leatherwork and other decorative or functional pieces.
Objects may be selected, commissioned or developed through collaborations with makers and specialist workshops, with particular attention to material integrity, method, craftsmanship and individual character.
