Tome is an engineering research, design and development practice concerned with understanding technical problems, developing knowledge and transforming that knowledge into considered solutions.
Established in January 2016 following Claudia González Burguete's acceptance to study for an MPhil in Engineering, specialising in Photonics, at University College London (UCL), Tome developed as a dedicated identity for engineering research and technical work.
Its expertise may encompass engineering analysis and design, research and development, technology investigation, product and system development, technical innovation, prototyping, experimentation, testing, optimisation and technical documentation.
Research also forms an intellectual dimension of Tome. Technical knowledge can be developed and communicated through articles, studies, papers and other forms of technical writing.
